VNP Constructions Limited fined £7,200 after work at height risks left unaddressed for months

What happened

Inspectors found work at height risks and poor site management during a visit to a residential conversion project in London. The company and its director then ignored multiple enforcement notices for around 12 months.

Regulation 15(2) of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and Section 33(1)(g) of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974

The sentence

  • Fine: £7,200
  • Costs: £900
  • Other sentence: company director personally fined £10,800 plus £900 costs

What would have prevented it
