About

Who is trained on your site, and where is the record?

When something goes wrong, the first question is whether your people were trained and whether you can prove it. PHW trains and assesses them and gives you the written records. Machine operators on their own machines. Staff at pubs and licensed premises on the licensing rules.

PHW has certificated thousands of candidates nationwide, for multinationals and small firms alike.

Your trade

Pick yours. Each trade has its own page with the real cases, a one-minute check and the contact form.

On your own site and machines

For goods in and goods out sites, small civils crews on 1 to 8 tonne machines, workshops, farms and yards running forklifts, telescopic handlers, excavators and Stihl saws.

On your machines

Trained on the machine your operator actually runs

Telescopic handler, forklift, excavator, dumper or Stihl saw: your own machine, on your own site.

How a training day works
Real competence

Assessed on theory and on the machine

A marked theory test, then a practical assessment carried out on site, on that machine.

A QR code anyone can scan

Every certificate resolves to a live record of who was assessed, on what, and when.

Check a certificate

Employers have to make sure that everyone who uses work equipment has received adequate training (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998, regulation 9). The law in plain terms.

What a training day gives you

Each member of staff has a signed record, and a certificate with a QR code that opens the live record. A licensing officer or trading standards can check it without asking you to find a filing cabinet.
