A scaffolder installing temporary edge protection at a site in Keighley stepped on a roof skylight while carrying materials and fell more than 6 metres to the warehouse floor below. STM360 Limited pleaded guilty to breaching Regulation 13 of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 after failing to plan, manage and monitor the roof work; a second firm, Clover Access Systems Limited, was fined separately in the same case.
Injuries: Broken arm, broken leg and head lacerations.
