A worker fell approximately 1.65 metres from a stepladder while using a gas-powered nail gun during formwork construction for a staircase, as part of a property renovation project. The site had not provided suitable and sufficient control measures for the work at height.
Injuries: Crush injuries to both elbows requiring surgery, a fractured forearm, dislocated wrists, and injuries to his right leg and left knee.
