HSE became aware of reports of vibration-related illness among employees and an investigation identified seven affected workers. The company had failed to assess vibration risks, put control measures in place, provide health surveillance or deliver adequate training.
Injuries: Workers experienced finger blanching, numbness in the hands at night, loss of grip strength and nerve damage affecting daily life.
